In the midst of this world COVID 19 pandemic, we are so thankful to be able to hold our children tight, to protect them as much as possible from the scourge of the virus crisis.

However, do we have a heart for the little ones who do not have a loving mom or dad to see to their care? In the United States we have a foster care system on the front lines to hopefully safeguard these kids, to keep them safe and see to their needs during these scary times. However, thousands of children who are abandoned and in need throughout the world are wholly dependent on institutional orphanages to see to their care and well-being. Many, if not most, of the orphanages are grossly underfunded, depending on charitable donations to care for the children.

We at the R and C Jones Fund think about those little ones constantly, and we are determined to help see to their need for a caring and a safe environment in a COVID 19 world. In the past, we have provided healthy fresh foods, clothing, educational materials, and funds to the children. We have even visited them several times, so it’s no wonder that they are on our hearts and minds at this time of crisis.
