Hello Dear Friends and Supporters,

It’s that blessed time of year when we take pleasure in joining in with others in the act of giving to others… During this time, hearts are especially open to providing sustenance, succor, and loving gifts to people.  Thanksgiving is the traditional time to represent thankfulness for God’s bountiful blessings, and  Christmas represents the gift of the birth of Jesus  Christ to the world.
Each year, we here at The Fund make a concerted effort to join in by working with and supporting other organizations to care for, feed, and clothe their respective populations. We feel that by helping them to fulfill their missions, we are true to our stated mission of tending to the needs of the most vulnerable of people.
To this end, The Fund has identified four Projects in which to engage over this 2022 holiday season:

  • Thanksgiving Meals for Homeless Students and Families in Hernando County, FL. This initiative involves working with the County’s Program for Students and Families in Transition.

  • Support for the Residents of Noble Senior Living Facility, Brooksville, FL. Noble is a long term and Hospice Care facility, with many of the residents
needing financial support. Our Fund will donate funds, and supplies to hopefully aid in providing a better quality of life for the residents in need.

  • Nazareth House Orphanage, Johannesburg S A. In a long-standing tradition, The Fund has supported Nazareth House with donations for the children. We hope to continue by providing a Christmas donation this season.

  • Adopting A Classroom for Christmas. We have started a yearly project of providing Christmas presents to the children in a Head Start Program (in cooperation with The Family Advocate for the project in Hernando County) and providing presents for the children in a local daycare center.

**A special note of thanks to Publix Supermarket at Lakewood Plaza in Spring Hill, FL for facilitating the Fund 2022 Holiday Food Drive as part of our continued mission of:  "supporting the efforts of organizations and people that address the basic needs of the poorest in society; providing hands-on and financial support to those in need; and promoting the health, education, and general well-being of underserved communities in society. Thank you, Publix, and God bless.
